The annual North Aurora Community Parade will be held on Sunday, September 17 and kicks off at 3 pm from Blessed Sacrament Church near the corner of Oak Street and Juniper Drive. The parade proceeds east on Oak, turns south on Adams Street, then east on Route 56, and ends at North Aurora Island Park on the riverfront.
Following the parade, the North Aurora River District Alliance sponsors a Post-Parade Party with food vendors, family-friendly activities, and the annual Rubber Duck Race.
Parade King & Queen Scholarship Contest
EXTENDED DEADLINE ~ Interested in a college scholarship? Enter the 2017 North Aurora Mothers Club King & Queen Contest! The North Aurora Mothers Club will award two $1,000 scholarships, one each to the King and Queen to be presented at North Aurora Days. All applications must be postmarked no later than SUNDAY, APRIL 30th. For North Aurora residents or West Aurora High School seniors. Download the application for more information:
