Throughout the year we sponsor or participate in several local events, raise money for local organizations and recognize community members for their service.
Community Events
Community Dinner: an annual dinner that is free to all North Aurora residents. It is an opportunity for North Aurorans to gather together, connect with neighbors and friends, and meet new people, all while enjoying a warm, hearty pasta dinner in the middle of a cold, Chicago winter.
North Aurora Winter Gala Fundraiser: held in February, this event is open to the community. All are invited to share in a fun filled evening of dinner, dancing and silent auction/raffles.
Commitment to Community Award: given annually to a community member who embodies the spirit of the NAMC’s mission. The award recipient also is invited to serve as Grand Marshal of the annual North Aurora Community Parade.
North Aurora Community Parade: the annual North Aurora Community Parade kicks off the summer on the first Sunday in June. The parade celebrates North Aurora businesses, clubs, friends and neighbors with floats from schools, bands and organizations in the village, and is followed by North Aurora River District Alliance’s Party in the Park at the Fox Valley riverfront.
